We are on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers to help us throughout the year in maintaining our beautiful properties! By joining our team, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our residents and the community. Together, we can strive to be one of the best-kept properties in the area!
What You Can Help With:
Landscaping and Gardening - Not only will you contribute to these meaningful projects, but you'll also have the chance to enjoy the charm of the historic downtowns in New Richmond and Bethel before or after your volunteer work.
Butterfly Wellness Park in New Richmond needs spring and fall landscape beds “clean-up” or throughout the season by weeding, planting and/or mowing.
Peer-Led Community Recovery Center in New Richmond, Ohio needs spring and fall landscape beds “clean-up” throughout the growing season by weeding/mulching, planting annuals, mowing.
1.7 acres surrounding our House in Bethel, Ohio off SR 133 needs spring and fall landscape beds “clean-up.”
Additional opportunities include:
Adopting a house to decorate for holidays (e.g., seasonal wreaths and doormats).
Providing meals for household events such as weekly house meetings or holidays.
Applying to be a member of our board of directors - we especially need people with lived experience of mental health and/or addiction living in our communities!
Marketing/public relations student interested in volunteering/internship
Accounting student interested in volunteering/internship
