About Us

We are a group of peers dedicated to helping others access community resources while championing the eight dimensions of wellness. Together, we confidently embark on our journey "On Our Way Home" to discover our authentic best selves.

Our mission is to advance public awareness, implement educational strategies, promote personal empowerment, and provide peer-based behavioral health and recovery support in rural Southwest Ohio.

We envision strengthening communities by enabling individuals to attain the four pillars of recovery: stable housing, robust physical and behavioral health, and a strong sense of purpose and belonging. Our goals are to provide consistent, high quality peer support services promoting all dimensions of wellness and cultivating a deep sense of connectedness.

Much like a butterfly emerging with delicate new wings, those in recovery need time, support, and encouragement to grow strong and soar. Through our Peer-Led Community Recovery Center, our Certified Peer Recovery Supporters guide individuals through the eight dimensions of wellness—emotional, spiritual, intellectual, physical, environmental, financial, occupational, and social—helping them build resilience and confidence for life’s winds and changes. We believe that safe, affordable housing, good health, and a sense of belonging are essential for lasting recovery. From accessing healthcare to building healthy relationships, we offer a comprehensive range of services to empower individuals and their families on their journey to wellness. We recognize the challenges of stigma, but we are here to show that recovery is not only possible—it truly works.

On Our Way Home also provides safe, supportive single-family residences for men and women committed to their sobriety. For those transitioning from inpatient treatment, our homes offer a secure and structured environment where new skills and healthy habits can take root. By working closely with community partners, we ensure immediate access to vital resources, helping residents overcome isolation and transform into confident, independent individuals.
